Craftsman Remodel:
Piedmont, CA

This historic Craftsman built in 1911 was reimagined with modern elements to balance old with new. Blue Zone Builders worked to care for and preserve the historical architecture, while bringing new light to the new home for a family of three. “Their craftsmanship and expertise truly shine throughout this project,” says Laura Martin Bovard, Principal of LMB Interiors. The project was featured in San Francisco Magazine.

This kitchen/family room combination was completely gutted down to the studs. Everything from the cabinetry, trim, lighting/electrical, drywall/plaster, tile, plumbing, plumbing fixtures, and exterior door/window was new.

The dining room was newly faced, all while preserving the historical ceiling work: plaster work, finish carpentry, cabinetry, and paint.

All bathrooms were gutted down to the studs and created anew.
